Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari took time out of his busy World Cup schedule last Thursday to spend time with members of the poor community in Maceió.
The AC Milan player was granted special permission by Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah to visit the people in one of the poorest communities in Brazil.
While he was there, the 29-year-old signed autographs and took photos with the locals before handing out cash to those who are less fortunate than himself.
When questioned about why he decided to visit the community, Muntari said: "This community reminds me too much."
