A Queens Park Rangers thought he was going to miss Saturday's Championship play-off final at Wembley when his dog destroyed his tickets.
With the winner set to earn a place in the Premier League, the Championship play-off final is an unmissable game for QPR and Derby County supporters.
But QPR fan Saffa Michail got an unwelcome surprise when he came home from work to find that his tickets had been chewed to bits with the rest of his mail by his dog.
It's safe to say Michail was less than pleased with his pet.
Luckily for him, QPR striker Charlie Austin noticed the fan's anguish and urged the club to sort the problem.
To QPR's credit they responded to the request and told the fan they would reprint his tickets.
Meanwhile, the dog has since apologised about the incident.
