Brazilian website, www.trivela.uol.com.br, are unhappy with Zlatan Ibrahimović's World Cup absence that they created an online campaign for him, so he can represent the Colombian team in the tournament.

Echoed by many users, the campaign would see the Paris Saint-Germain striker replace injured Colombian striker Radamel Falcao, whose World Cup hopes in jeopardy after suffering a serious knee injury this week.

Aided by the #NaturalizaIbra tag, the campaigners took to Twitter to produce the mock-up image and send the message "Brazilians and Colombians, let us unite to naturalise Ibra!"

They argued "since Ibrahimović plays in the same position as Falcao, why not give the Colombian nationality to him?"

It is the first time the South American nation have qualified for the tournament in 16 years but despite their Falcao sob-story, this plea is very unlikely to be ratified by FIFA.
