Cristiano Ronaldo opens football academy in Georgia

Portugal and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo opened a new football academy in the Georgian capital Tbilisi on Sunday.
Ronaldo, who has over the past few days taken part in several promotional events in France and in Singapore, posed with children and signed numerous autographs at the inauguration in Tbilisi.
The 28-year-old was accompanied by Ukrainian legend Andriy Shevchenko and former AC Milan player Kakha Kaladze, who is now the deputy Prime Minister of Georgia.
Ronaldo also attended a friendly match between Dinamo Tbilisi, a famous club now fallen on hard times, and Dynamo Moscow.
The game marked the 90th anniversary of the Russian club, a team whose line-up once included Lev Yashin, who is considered the greatest goalkeeper of all time.
