Thierry Henry added to his collection of highlight-reel finishes with a gorgeous overhead kick in New York Red Bulls' 2-1 win over Montreal Impact on Wednesday night.
In a matchup of two teams part of a four-way tie atop the Eastern Conference, Henry opened the scoring for the Red Bulls in the dying seconds of the first half.
The Arsenal legend then got his second of the game in spectacular fashion with two minutes remaining.
Juninho took a corner kick from the right side that deflected off the head of Markus Holgersson towards the back post.
Henry was there and hit a fantastic overhead kick to put the ball into the back of the net from about 8 yards out.
The wonder strike was a mesmerizing moment that brought the 11,892 fans at Red Bull Arena out of their seats.
Marco Di Vaio pulled a goal back for Montreal in the second minute of stoppage time, but the Red Bulls were able to hold on to earn the three points.
"The second goal is pretty special. In fairness, the way he took it, it was class and that's what you need," said Red Bulls midfielder Tim Cahill.
Red Bulls coach Mike Petke added: "That's why he is on the field. He still has all that quality and it just takes a moment of magic from him and he had two tonight."
