Theo Walcott & Gareth Bale known as 'underwear bandits' back at Southampton

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott and Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale were once good friends back at Southampton, where the pair became known as the "'underwear bandits".
They may now play for opposing north London outfits, but when they were part of Southampton's youth team, they got up to all kinds of capers and peculiar antics.
"We'd call ourselves the underwear bandits," Walcott told Sport magazine.
"I have no idea where it came from, but if you were in your room watching a film and someone burst in with their boxers on their head, you knew you were in trouble.
"Sometimes it wasn't even pillows – it was shoes and stuff like that. Luckily I was always quite quick, so I tended to get away with it."
Both Walcott and Bale have since become two of the hottest properties in the Premier League.
