Arjen Robben's beauty sends Bayern past Dortmund

An Arjen Robben stunner was enough to earn Bayern Munich a 1-0 victory over holders Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night to move into the DFB-Pokal semifinals.
The 71,000 full house at the Allianz Arena saw the game ebb and flow for half an hour, before Robben opened the scoring after 43 minutes.
Some hesitant defending from Marcel Schmelzer allowed Philipp Lahm to feed Robben.
The Dutchman took the ball, turned on it and sent a fierce curling left-foot shot beyond Roman Weidenfeller high into the corner of the net.
The goal was so good that even Dortmund boss Jürgen Klopp had to give it a nod of appreciation as Robben wheeled away in celebration.
"This was a game between two fantastic teams," Robben said afterwards.
"Not just between two of the best teams in Germany, but two of the best in Europe and when you decide a tie like that, with a goal like that, then you have to be happy."
As well as capping Robben's recent resurgence, the goal helped both player and club exorcise their Dortmund demons.
"I'm happy for Arjen," added Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
"It was almost exactly a year ago in the game against Dortmund when he suffered somewhat psychologically.
"But I think with his goal today, he did absolutely everything right."
