Didier Drogba scores within 5 minutes of Galatasaray debut

Former Chelsea superstar Didier Drogba made a sensational start to his Galatasaray career as he struck the opening goal in a 2-1 win at Akhisar Belediyespor on Friday.
Drogba, who joined Galatasaray earlier this month following an ill-fated spell at Shanghai Shenhua, came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute with the score still goalless.
But the 34-year-old striker broke the deadlock just five minutes after his arrival with a looping header into the far corner of the net following good work from Burak Yılmaz.
Two minutes later Drogba turned provider, poking free a ball for Burak to score his 12th league goal of the season for the visitors.
Sertan Vardar pulled a goal back for the bottom side Akhisar on 85 minutes, but no one was able to overshadow Drogba's entry onto the Turkish stage.
