The Ukrainian league kicked off its 2012/13 season this weekend, and Saturday produced one of the all-time great own goals ever.
Goverla, having been promoted last season, started their new campaign at Chernomorets, but the first half was a complete catastrophe for the visitors as they fell three goals behind.
Making matters worse for Goverla, was the fact that Chernomorets' second came from an amazing own goal from centre-half Evgen Eliseev.
Attempting to cut out a Chernomorets attack 30-yards from goal, the left-footed defender swiped the ball towards his own net.
With his keeper unable to handle the ball because of the back-pass, the ball incredibly flew high into the goalmouth.
