Lucas Viatri marked his return from a long-term knee injury with a spectacular goal to send Boca Juniors on their way to a 2-0 win at Racing Club on Sunday.
The 25-year-old came on in the second half at the Juan Domingo Perón for his first appearance in seven months following the injury to his left knee and broke the deadlock in the 70th minute.
Receiving a ball in the edge of the area and flipping it over over his shoulder with a back heel before firing home a 15-yard volley.
Fellow striker Nicolás Blandi then doubled the lead for Boca in the 82nd minute.
"It was a goal that helps me a lot spiritually, brings me lots of memories, the hard times I went through," an emotional Viatri told reporters.
"The one up there (God) shone a bit on me."
