A late fightback from AC Milan saw the reigning champions win 2-1 at Udinese and move top of Serie A.

It looked like Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin was going to celebrate his first ever victory against Milan after Antonio Di Natale gave the home team the lead in the 17th minute.

The home side continued to dominate the game, but they were made to pay for not taking their chances in the 77th minute as substitute Maxi López pulled Milan level following a counter-attack.

Milan completed the turnaround with five minutes remaining when Stephan El Shaarawy fired home emphatically at the near post after being fed by López.
