Daniel Alves struck a world-class goal as Barcelona edged their way into the Copa del Rey semi-finals with a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid at home last night.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Madrid managed to concede another goal in the 43rd minute through substitute Pedro.
Then, just two minutes later, Alves made it a 4-1 lead on aggregate with a stunning second.
Xavi's free-kick deflected off the chest of Lassana Diarra and into the path of Alves, who sent a blistering shot into the top far corner past outstretched Iker Casillas.
Cristiano Ronaldo pulled a goal back in the 68th minute from time and four minutes later the visitors were level when Karim Benzema slammed home.
It was not enough for José Mourinho's side, though, as they were elimintated 4-3 on aggregate.
