Dutch winger Eljero Elia is now officially a Juventus player after completing his transfer from Bundesliga outfit Hamburg.
Elia, who had three years remaining on his contract at Hamburg, joins the Turin giants for a fee of €9 million and has signed a four-year contract.
"For me it was very important that the coach (Antonio Conte) wanted me in making this decision."
The 24-year-old had been linked with a move to Arsenal and Liverpool but instead opted to become the third Dutchman to play for the Old Lady.
"I hope I can do as well as them," added Elia, who follows in the footsteps of Edgar Davids and Edwin van der Sar.
"I want to show what I can do. I know I can bring speed and skill to Juventus, and I hope to score a lot of goals."
Elia is the third left midfielder whom the club have signed this season after the captures of Emanuele Giaccherini from Cesena and Paraguayan Marcelo Estigarribia.
