Atlético Madrid coach Gregorio Manzano is expecting striker Diego Forlán to put the finishing touches to his transfer to Inter Milan "in the next few hours".
Forlán is set to end his four-year stay at the Vicente Calderón by linking up with Inter following the departure of Samuel Eto'o to Anzhi Makhachkala.
"Forlán is hours away from completing the transfer," Manzano told a press conference ahead of Sunday's La Liga game with Osasuna.
"Diego already did not come with us to Portugal and you know the reason. He won't be here tomorrow either.
"He is in negotiations with Inter - that is public news and everyone knows how it is going.
"It is expected that it will be resolved in the next few hours and he will stop being an Atlético player and one owned by Inter."
