The issue of the atmosphere at the Emirates was said by Samir Nasri after his move to Manchester City.

And Fábregas, whose protracted move back to his beloved Barcelona finally went ahead last week, has endorsed Nasri's criticism by admitting he "never felt at home as I was at Highbury".

Speaking ahead of Barcelona's European Super Cup match against FC Porto on Friday, Fábregas said: "I never felt at home the way I felt at Highbury at any other stadium in the world.

"But it was not my decision to move, it was the club's decision. It was what they needed in that moment.

"Highbury was a special thing that I don't think will happen any more, but we have to make.

"Arsenal have to make the Emirates their home now and with their own cabinet of trophies to start all over again."
