The highly-rated playmaker is set to end his stay in Sicily this summer with Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona all reportedly in the race to sign the 22-year-old.

And Palermo president Zamparini has conceded that it is highly unlikely the player will be at the Stadio Renzo Barbera next season.

He told Corriere dello Sport: "There is only a 10 per cent chance that he will stay with us.

"At the moment he is in Argentina preparing for the Copa America and his agent is evaluating three or four offers.

"I can also confirm that a foreign club made me a €50 million offer yesterday.

"The player has no preference regarding his destination. At the moment he is calmly just waiting for us to give him news.

"For me Pastore is worth more than €50 million and in two or three years' time, his price will double."

Pastore's agent Marcelo Simonian confirmed Zamparini's claim, telling La Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's true, there is someone that wants him at that price.

"This is the basis, hence, the price will absolutely not be lowered.

"If anyone wants him they can contact us. Pastore is calm and never asks me about the (transfer) market, we speak about other things."
