Real Madrid coach José Mourinho has reiterated his desire to sign Portuguese wing-back Fábio Coentrão from Benfica this summer.
Coentrão, who can play as a left-back or as a left winger, is being tracked by some of Europe's biggest clubs after his impressive form this past season helped guide Benfica to the semi-finals of the Europa League, as well as a second place in the Portuguese league.
And Mourinho believes the 23-year-old would be an excellent fit for the Spanish giants next season.
In a radio interview with Cadena SER, Mourinho said: "He is a great player.
"I like him for his versatility, playing in all positions. Players like him are always welcome, and more so at a club as demanding as Madrid."
At the Bernabéu, the left-sided footballer would get a chance to link up with compatriots Pepe, Ricardo Carvalho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
