Gerard Piqué is hopeful his former Manchester United team-mate Giuseppe Rossi can join him at Barcelona this summer.
Speculation over the future of Rossi has been growing in recent weeks, with the player speaking of his desire to play for the Spanish champions, while Villarreal coach Juan Carlos Garrido said the player will be sold if the club gets a good offer for him.
Speaking at the launch of the Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite boot, Piqué said: "We arrived at Old Trafford at the same time and we were in the same team for a few years.
"He has loads of talent. He knows how to go long, come short, he has a good touch, and he is very quick.
"As a person he is ten out of then. He would be very welcome."
