Atlético Madrid goalkeeper David de Gea has officially become Manchester United's new No 1.
An £18 million move from Atlético has been touted for some time, but was put on hold as the 20-year-old helped Spain to European U-21 Championship glory.
"I feel very proud and I can't wait to start playing here," said de Gea in an exclusive interview with MUTV.
"When a club the size of Manchester United comes in for you it obviously makes you very, very happy.
"I saw their interest as an extra motivation to work even harder to show off my ability.
"It's a great privilege to be part of a club like United and I'm keen to do my best and show what I can do."
The signing of de Gea has taken United's spending this summer to £50 million, following two more mega-deals for Ashley Young's £20 million move from Aston Villa and £16 million for Blackburn Rovers' Phil Jones.

With that tournament having reached a conclusion on Saturday, he finally gets to sign his five-year contract today after passing a medical at Bridgewater Hospital.
