AC Milan plays down Ganso link

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has hosed down speculation linking the club with a move for Santos playmaker Ganso.
Ganso is considered one of the hottest prospects in his homeland and made his Brazil debut in a friendly against the United States in August 2010.
It is claimed that Milan are preparing a big-money bid for the 21-year-old who suffered a serious knee injury last year.
Galliani, though, is not prepared to discuss the matter until a formal offer has been made to Santos for consideration.
He told reporters: "I don't want to talk about Ganso.
"Considering that Milan haven't made an offer yet, I don't think it is right to talk about a player that belongs to Santos.
"If we do make an offer, then we can talk about this."
Should Ganso make a move to the San Siro this summer, he will link up with fellow countrymen Thiago Silva, Robinho and Alexandre Pato.
