Philippe Mexès has ruled out a move to the Premier League amid speculation both Liverpool and Arsenal are keen on the AS Roma defender.
The 28-year-old will be out of contract with Roma at the end of the season and he has yet to agree an extension at the Stadio Olimpico.
The former Auxerre stalwart told newspapers in France: "It's true that I'll be out of contract, but I am quite relaxed about the situation.
"I will wait and then evaluate all proposals. I never said I'll go anywhere, but I'll make a decision over the next few months. There is no cut-off date.
"Milan? There is talk of that, but also of a renewal with Roma or a transfer to England.
"I have nothing in particular to add, other than to say that if I did leave Roma, I'd prefer to stay in Italy. I know Serie A well and they know me."

Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan have all shown interest in the Frenchman, but no deal has been done and Mexès suggests he will decide his next move at the end of the season.
