Fàbregas: Wilshere too scared to ask for Messi's shirt!

Arsenal captain Cesc Fàbregas has mocked team-mate Jack Wilshere on Twitter for being too shy to ask Lionel Messi for his shirt.

Despite produced a man-of-the-match display in Arsenal's 2-1 Champions League win over Barcelona on Wednesday, Wilshere was apparently too scared apparently got cold feet when it came to the post-match shirt exchange.

Fàbregas tweeted Wilshere saying: "can't believe i had to go to get Messi's shirt for u. U were so scared. You were MOTM so next time please ask urself!"

In response to his captain's remarks, Wilshere replied: "you are the skipper mate you should look after your players ;) Thanks though and next time in going after your mate iniesta!"

In the end, the 19-year-old not only got Messi's shirt, he also bagged Xavi's too, and later uploaded a picture of himself with the two souvenirs with his father, Andy.

He tweeted: "Morning tweeps. You will like this one. Me and my dad with Messi and Xavi's shirt after the game."
