Paulo Bento enjoyed his first game as Portugal coach with a 3-1 triumph over Denmark in Leiria.
Nani sidefooted first-time into the net from a Cristiano Ronaldo cross in the 29th minute before picking up a stray pass from Christian Poulsen to strike a left-foot shot for his second.
Ricardo Carvalho deflected the ball into his own net with 10 minutes to go but Ronaldo sealed the win when he was set up by Nani just five minutes before the final whistle.
