Antonio Cassano's future at Sampdoria is in doubt after a blazing row with president Riccardo Garrone this week.
The 28-year-old Italy international looked to have put his bad boy days behind him, but this latest argument could ruin his relationship with the Blucheriati.
The row erupted after Cassano did not attend an awards ceremony and then exchanged heated words with the president in the locker room when asked to make a formal apology.
And Sampdoria have released a statement suggesting that they are considering disciplinary action against Cassano.
"In reference to the incident on Tuesday 26 at the Gloriano Mugnaini training ground, during which the player Antonio Cassano showed a gravely offensive and disrespectful attitude to president Riccardo Garrone," read an official statement.
"Sampdoria announce that they have opened a request for disciplinary action."
The bitter row opens the door for Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus to sign the errant star.
