Scott Parker has put speculation about his future to bed by signing a new four-year contract at West Ham United.
The 29-year-old midfielder had been the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool during the summer, but a move away from Upton Park failed to materialise.
"I always knew this was where I was going to be," Parker told the club's official website.
"I am just absolutely delighted to have signed the contract. Everyone knows I enjoy playing my football here.
"I really wanted to stay, give it a shot and see what can happen."
He added: "The fans mean a lot to me.
"I think if you asked any player, the most important thing is feeling welcome and being appreciated by the fans.
"That had a massive factor in me deciding to stay and signing a new contract."
