VfB Stuttgart have confirmed the signing of Mauro Camoranesi on a one-year contract with the option of another next summer.
The 33-year-old winger was picked up on a free transfer on the final day of the transfer window having parted company with Juventus.
"There are some players who I got to know at the 2010 World Cup and then there is Cristian Molinaro who was my team-mate at Juventus.
"Stuttgart are a great team and the fact that I have arrived as a reinforcement is a great thing.
"For me, this was the right time to leave Juventus. I am happy to have got this opportunity.
"The Bundesliga has grown a lot in recent years and more and more great players choose to come and play here.
"I had other offers, but Stuttgart took precedence."
