Manchester United had to twice come from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok.
Zat Knight capitalised on United's poor defending to give Bolton the lead after six minutes before Nani levelled with an excellent individual goal in the 23rd minute.
Bolton regained the lead in the 67th minute when Martin Petrov cut inside and smashed a right-foot shot that flicked off Darren Fletcher and past goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar at his near post.
Michael Owen was then introduced for Fletcher in the 71st minute and made an immediate impact with a deft near-post flick from Nani's free-kick to bring United level.
