Parma capture Sebastian Giovinco from Juventus on loan

Sebastian Giovinco has joined Parma on a season-long loan deal with the option to purchase half of his contract from Juventus at the end of the season.
It is believed Parma have paid Juventus around €500,000 for the duration of the loan spell.
Giovinco told fcparma.com: "I arrive at the club with the right spirit and professionalism that I have always had.
"I am happy to be part of this club and this society, after the bad year that I spent at Juve. I want to redeem myself and to show what I am worth."
Parma director Pietro Leonardi added: "I am convinced that Giovinco represents the cherry on top of the cake that our fans were constantly asking us for.
"He was highly sought after by the president, who wanted to bring a quality player to the side, and he is of first-class."

Bari and Arsenal were also interested in acquiring the services of Giovinco, but in the end it were the Ducali who got the U-21 international.
