Marco Borriello pondering AC Milan exit

AC Milan striker Marco Borriello is considering a move away from the San Siro after the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimović from Barcelona.

The 28-year-old acknowledges he will struggle to find space in the Rossoneri starting XI this season with the Sweden international at the club.

He did start in Milan's 4-0 win over Lecce, but it is extremely likely that he will drop down to the subs bench once Ibrahimović is fully settled in Milan.

"Zlatan's arrival? He is a great champion but with his arrival there will be limited playing time," Borriello told Milan Channel.

"I have to evaluate my future and speak to the club and my agent because right now I'm at the high point of my career."

Borriello, who scored 14 goals in 29 league appearances for Milan last season, has been linked with a move to Juventus.

The two Italian giants have reportedly reach an accord, with the player initially moving to Turin on loan with the option to purchase at the end of the season.
