Juventus have confirmed the loan signing of Napoli striker Fabio Quagliarella with an option to buy at the end of the season for €10.5 million.
The 27-year-old Italy international underwent a medical in Turin on Friday at the club's headquarters and put pen to paper on his new contract.
"I didn’t expect all this, as it happened so quickly," Quagliarella told a press conference.
"We are professionals and in our line of work these things do happen. On Thursday matters became more concrete, but there had been contact for a while.
"The Napoli fans expected me to refuse the move, but they will understand that these deals are done between all three parties."
Quagliarella joins Miloš Krasić, Jorge Martínez plus Simone Pepe and Davide Lanzafame among the new faces at the club.
