Fiorentina completed on Thursday morning the signing of Glasgow Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc for an undisclosed fee.
The Polish shot-stopper, who had a year left on his contract at the Scottish club, has signed a two-year deal with the Viola after successfully completing a medical and will join his new team-mates for pre-season training in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
A statement from the Serie A side read: "Fiorentina announces it has completed the permanent transfer of Artur Boruc after a successful medical from Glasgow Celtic."
Boruc's arrival in Florence has been seen in some quarters as a prelude to the potential departure of Sébastien Frey, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
