Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has hinted goalkeeper Joe Hart is likely to return to Eastlands next season.
Hart has enjoyed an exceptional campaign on loan at Premier League rivals Birmingham City and looks odds-on to win a place in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad this summer.
Brum boss Alex McLeish has made no secret of his desire to take Hart for a second loan season, but could now see those hopes dashed.
"Joe Hart is a good goalkeeper, who next year could be an important goalkeeper for England and Manchester City," said Mancini.
"He is only young and probably he will stay with us. But it is not an important issue just now.
"We must concentrate on our games and stick with what is happening this season."
