Reported Premier League target Simon Kjær has snubbed a future move away from Palermo, saying he is happy to stay put and does not wish to be a "fourth or fifth choice" player.
Manchester rivals City and United, along with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, have all been credited with holding an interest in the Danish centre-back.
However, Kjær has rejected claims he could be moving to England and insisted that he is happy to stay in Italy.
The 21-year-old told Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport: "Manchester United and Juventus? I'm flattered but I love Palermo.
"Here I'm fine, I like the city, the people, the way in which we live. I live in Mondello, the sea is wonderful, my girlfriend would not move from here.
"Also I have no intention of going to a team that consider me the fourth or fifth choice."
