Table of Contents
The agent of Guus Hiddink, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen, has rejected reports suggesting his client is being lined up to replace Ciro Ferrara in the Juventus hotseat.
Local media has buzzed in recent days with unconfirmed reports that the Turin giants are unhappy with Ferrara and are looking for a replacement.
Juventus have lost three of their last four games in Serie A and were also knocked out of the Champions League short of the last 16 to leave Ferrara on shaky ground.
"There has not been any contact made between Hiddink and Juventus," van Nieuwenhuizen told Telelombardia.
"I am 100 per cent sure that he will not be the next coach of the Bianconeri. We have not been in contact with Juventus, and Juve have never attempted to contact us.
"It's all rumours started by the media."
