Alessandro Nesta: Lazio represented my life

AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta admits that even though "he wear the red and black shirt, his heart is blue and white".
Born in a family of Lazio supporters, Nesta came through the ranks at the Biancocelesti and was part of the squad that won the club's last Scudetto 10 years ago.
Nesta was transferred to Milan for €30 million in 2002 as financial woes forced Lazio to sell many of their best players.
"Lazio represented my life," Nesta told Il Messaggero. "Even though I wear the red and black shirt my heart is blue and white.
"I was born, I grew up and asserted myself in that club. My parents and friends are all Lazio fans.
"My relationship with the fans is normal. The last time I was at the Olimpico they didn't whistle me and I consider this to be something positive."
