Milan close door to Luca Toni swoop

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has ruled out an approach for out of favour Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni after claiming there will be no new arrivals in January.
Having already sealed deals for LA Galaxy star David Beckham and Fredrikstad striker Dominic Adiyiah, Galliani has confirmed that the club will not be looking elsewhere to bolster the squad in the upcoming transfer window.
"In January, only Beckham and Adiyah will arrive," Galliani explained on leaving a meeting of the Lega Calcio in Milan.
"I have said there will be a new player with the features of Pato and Ronaldinho, but not for now.
"Luca Toni? We have three strikers already and are okay with that."
