Agüero heaps praise on ex-strike partner Torres

Atlético Madrid star Sergio Agüero claims he is not surprised by how well Fernando Torres has done in the Premier League.
Torres’ Liverpool goal record deserves open-mouthed amazement as his goal against Wigan Athletic last Wednesday was his 61st in his first 100 matches with the Reds.
The Spaniard has had to come to terms with a new league, a new culture, and a whole new style of football, it makes his goalscoring ratio absolutely and utterly outstanding.
"I am not surprised by how well Fernando has done in England," Agüero, who has played alongside Torres at the Vicente Calderón, said in The Sun
"He did things here at Atlético Madrid but perhaps they didn't work for him much because there's not much space here. Things always depend on the type of player - if he's a quick player and a finisher, or a different type of player.
"Moving to the Premier League has really worked for him and I'm delighted.
"He's been fortunate enough to score a lot of goals. We still talk but not so often - we mainly stay in touch by texting."
