Napoli 'know how' to sign Andrea Dossena - Agent

Andrea Dossena looks almost certain to be leaving Liverpool after his agent has urged Napoli to make a serious move to sign his client in January.
The 28-year-old was close to a switch to the Stadio San Paolo in the summer, but the transfer didn’t go through amidst suggestions that Napoli’s demands for complete ownership of Dossena’s image rights were the stumbling block.
But Dossena's representative, Federico Pastorello, has now revealed that Liverpool never even countenanced letting Dossena leave Merseyside.
Pastorello told Radio Kiss Kiss: "The negotiations in August were real, but the problem was not only the salary.
"In fact, Liverpool, never even gave us the green light to deal with Napoli, at least not officially.
"Just over a year ago, Liverpool invested £8.5 million plus bonuses in Andrea and they weren’t willing to let him go for half that figure.
"What about January? He has played less this year and it is clear that Liverpool have to move him. If Napoli want Dossena, they know how."
