France ran out a comfortable 3-1 victory over Austria in their final World Cup qualifier in Paris.
The hosts broke the deadlock after 17 minutes when Florent Malouda sent a perfect cross from the left which found Karim Benzema, who scored with a diving header.
Thierry Henry then doubled the lead from the penalty spot after Rod Fanni was fouled in the Austrian box in the 26th minute.
Austria reduced the deficit just two minutes into the second half as Erwin Hoffer who fired a shot that Lloris could only divert into the path of Marc Janko, who slotted home.
But André-Pierre Gignac restored the two-goal cushion on 67 minutes, leaving them only one point behind Serbia in the final standings.
