Inter president confirms van der Vaart liking

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has admitted that the club are interested in the services of Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
Van der Vaart only joined Real from Hamburg a year ago, but has been deemed surplus to requirements following the big-money arrivals at the Bernabéu.
A number of clubs across Europe are reportedly after the Dutchman’s signature, most prominently Inter.
The Nerazzurri are upping their search for a new midfielder and Moratti has revealed that van der Vaart is on the wishlist of the reigning Serie A champions.
Speaking to journalists after Inter's defeat to Lazio in the Supercoppa on Saturday, Moratti said: "José Mourinho has said that we need a trequartista and maybe he is right.
"Van der Vaart is one of the names that we are evaluating."
