Real Madrid announced on Friday that striker Álvaro Negredo will join Sevilla on a five-year deal.
Neither club revealed financial details of the deal, but Spanish media reports put the price tag at €15 million.
Real had initially bought Negredo earlier this summer for €5 million from Almería, where he scored 19 goals last season.
But he was believed to be surplus to requirements at the Bernabéu this summer following the arrivals of Kaká, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
Premier League side Hull City have a €13 million offer accepted by the Spanish giants, but the 24-year-old snubbed the Tigers in order to remain in Spain.
"Real Madrid CF and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Álvaro Negredo to the latter club," Real stated on their official website.
"Real Madrid CF has the right to purchase the player back in the next two seasons."
