Gianluigi Buffon never tempted by Manchester City's cash

Gianluigi Buffon insists he would never have swapped Juventus for Manchester City - even if they were to offer him double his current salary.
The Italy international, who has made over 200 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining from Parma in 2001, was linked with a big-money move to Eastlands back in January.
But Buffon claims he was never interested in going to City, believing that some things in life are more important than money.
"There was interest from Manchester City, but with all respect, it wasn’t for me," he told La Repubblica.
"I have a wife, a child, roots. I had to think for three and soon I’ll be thinking for four (another child is on the way).
"They wouldn’t have convinced me even if they offered to double my wages. I respect money, but in life there are things that are priceless."
