Dutch winger Arjen Robben insists he wants to stay and fight for his place in a star-studded Real Madrid side this season.
The 25-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bernabéu following the high-profile arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaká and Karim Benzema this summer.
However, Robben, who came off the bench to score in Saturday's friendly victory over Toronto, is keen to figure in coach Manuel Pellegrini's plans.
Speaking to reporters, Robben said: "My intention is to stay here.
"I believe that I can help this team a lot. I have a lot of confidence for the coming season.
"We (Robben and Pelegrini) have spoken, although not too much.
"But for me, the most important thing is to prove my worth in training and matches."
