Mark Hughes offers John Terry 'new challenge'

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes believes Chelsea skipper John Terry may need "a different challenge" for the good of his own career.
Hughes has seen two bids rejected by Chelsea for Terry, but the Eastlands outfit are refusing to give up their pursuit of the 28 year-old.
Terry has so far refused to comment publicly on his future, giving rise to speculation that he may yet join City's revolution.
With City prepared to pay him a £250,000-a-week salary, Terry is believed to be open to the prospect of a move to the City of Manchester Stadium.
"We would like to think we could offer John a different challenge," Hughes said.
"From my own experience, when you have been with a club a long time, you maybe get to a point when you need a new challenge, when you think a change of scenery would just reignite certain things within you.
"It is not a question of money. It's about a different challenge, a different stage in his life and career, and maybe that's why there hasn't been a response because John is seriously thinking in those terms.
"I went through that process myself and I can understand if that is the way he is thinking."
