Ashley Cole rejects new Chelsea deal

Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has turned down a new deal which would leave him £30,000-a-week short of the club's top earners.
Cole, currently on £70,000 a week, has snubbed the offer which would make him the third highest earner at Stamford Bridge, just behind John Terry and Frank Lampard.
The England international joined Chelsea in 2006 under acrimonious circumstances, after falling out with Arsenal over his unauthorised contact with Blues representatives.
"Ashley loves Chelsea and is genuinely excited about working with new boss Carlo Ancelotti," a source told The Sun.
"He wants to give the best years of his career to the club but the deal has to be right for such an important contract.
"He needs to feel as valued as any of the club's other top players."
