Juventus icon Alessandro Del Piero has extended his contract by one year and probably end his career at the club in 2011.
His old deal was set to expire at the end of this season, but the club have added another year to it.
Although no figures have yet been confirmed, it’s believed the 35-year-old will receive around €3 million a year.
"I can confirm my happiness and my pride with this agreement and to be here for a further year," Del Piero told a press conference at the Pinzolo training ground.
"I had been waiting for this for a while and wanted it very much.
"Negotiations were very quick, as we immediately reached an agreement.
"I want to keep playing for as long as I can and I’m certain that for at least two more years I will be at the top level."
