Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Touré has extended his contract with Barcelona by a year until June 2012.
The Spanish and European champions have also increased the value of Touré's buyout clause to €100 million from €60 million.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a possible move to England this summer, but he is now set to stay at the Camp Nou.
"What's important is to play at a great club and Barça is the club in which I want to play. This is the shirt in which I want to play," said Touré on the club's official website, www.fcbarcelona.com.
"My will is to end my career here, but I have to continue showing that I can play at the level of this club."
Barcelona president Joan Laporta added: "It's a great day for Barça because we have extended the contract of one of the best midfielders in the world."
