Víctor Valdés' agent has denied reports that numerous clubs including Manchester United and AC Milan have made an approach for the Barcelona goalkeeper.

The 27-year-old has been in negotiations for several days over a new contract at the Camp Nou, with just 12 months remaining on his current deal.

Reports in Spain claim that United and Milan, along with a hosts of top clubs in Europe, had made a move for Valdés but the shot-stopper's agent, Gines Carvajal, claims they are not looking at any offers at the moment.

"We don't have any offers and nor are we going to listen to any, wherever they come from, because Víctor has a year left on his contract and he owes it to Barcelona," he told Catalan radio station RAC 1.

"We don't want to listen to anything which will distract us from the idea of renewing at Barcelona.

"Our desire is that the situation sorts itself out. As we still have a lot of time, that's where we are."

Carvajal did admit that there have been some disagreements between the parties with regards to agreeing terms.

"It's complicated, there are differences, because if there weren't then we would have already renewed," he continued.

"Our desire is to continue negotiating. On our part, we are not breaking up any talks and Barça have not told me that they are either."
