AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti has ended speculation surrounding his future by announcing he will stay with the Giallorossi until the end of his contract in 2011.
The tactician's future has appeared uncertain for some time after Roma finishing a disappointing sixth in Serie A.
He has also been heavily linked with a move to Juventus, who are looking for a new coach following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri last month.
However, Spalletti has now agreed to remain at the club following a two hour meeting with president Rosella Sensi.
He told Sky Sport 24: "I remain for Roma's good.
"My stay in Rome only depends on my desire, because I can always do what I want.
"The motivation, the desire, should be the primary qualities, especially ahead of next season.
"The fans? They should feel involved. Our fans have to be on our side, we have to tell them things correctly, because they are our primary strength."
