Galatasaray appoint Frank Rijkaard as coach

Galatasaray have confirmed the appointment of Frank Rijkaard as their new coach.
The 46-year-old Dutchman has been out of work since leaving Barcelona 12 months ago.
Rijkaard has now been given a two-year deal at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium in a bid to restore the Cimbom to a more appropriate league position.
The Turkish giants only managed to finish fifth in the Turkish Super Lig and will be hoping for much more success under Rijkaard.
Rijkaard led the Dutch national team from 1998 to 2000 and won the Champions League and La Liga in a five-year spell with Barcelona between 2003 and 2008.
